The Monstera Collection explores the iconic tropical leaf through two distinct embroidery approaches: a dimensional freestanding lace design and a clean, graphic line-art interpretation.

The FSL Monstera creates a more tactile, decorative result, allowing the leaf to exist as a freestanding lace element or to be incorporated into fabric projects.

The line-art version takes the opposite approach — simplified, clean and contemporary, with a single-color design that works beautifully on T-shirts, tote bags, cushions and modern home décor.

Together, the two designs demonstrate how the same botanical motif can move between texture and simplicity, decoration and everyday design.

Use them separately, or create a coordinated set of projects with two different visual interpretations of the same leaf.

Technique: Freestanding Lace (FSL)

A dimensional Monstera leaf designed to be embroidered as freestanding lace.
The finished leaf can be used as a decorative element on its own or incorporated into textile projects. It can also be embroidered directly onto fabric if you prefer a more integrated look.
